My client, a global aircraft leasing firm is seeking an experienced VP Powerplant to enhance its technical team. This strategic role focuses on improving powerplant performance, managing maintenance strategies, and ensuring cost-effective asset management.
Responsibilities:
- Leading powerplant initiatives related to aircraft acquisitions, lease transitions, and contract discussions.
- Overseeing engine maintenance and repair programs, ensuring efficiency and cost control.
- Establishing strong industry relationships with airlines, MROs, and OEMs.
- Identifying and mitigating risks while implementing innovative asset management strategies.
Requirements:
- Experience in aviation powerplant management, with a background in engine leasing, airline MROs, or OEM.
- Technical expertise, supported by an engineering degree or a related aviation qualification.
- Strong commercial and strategic mindset, with excellent stakeholder management skills.
